Director's Bio: Margaret Kane-Rowe is a multi-award-winning screenwriter, director, playwright, poet, and short-story writer. Her stories are prompted by the universal challenge of parenting, whilst battling your own humanity. She uses the genres of comedy-drama, thriller, or horror to explore these themes. Margaret is winner of the Best Debut Director at the inaugural Dublin International Comedy Film Festival 2020 for Duck Egg Blue, her first short film. To date, Duck Egg Blue has been accepted and shown in seventeen Irish and International film festivals, nominated in seven awards categories: winning three best film/comedy awards.
