In a global pandemic, with many people forced to stay at home, many of us have picked up a pastime, big or small, that allows a temporary escape from the mundanity of contemporary everyday life. This film follows 4 stories of optimistic human endurance.

Director's Bio: David Sommerville is a 3rd year Film & Digital Media Student enrolled in the NUI Galway Huston School of Film. Previously nominated for awards in radio, film and print media, he has gone on to create his first documentary short film in 2021, The Pleasant Pastimes of a Pandemic People.
